In the Collector Configuration view you may have noticed there are other tabs:
Probes, Properties, and Trace Policy.
The Probes tab provides information on the underlying Java
classes that implement the custom probes used by the EDFs available through the
Events tab. If you were to write or commission additional custom probes, they
could be added through this interface so as to be available for reference in an
EDF. For more details on writing custom probes, contact RTI support.
The Properties tab shows individual properties of the current
collector. These vary with the type of collector, though many are common to all.
In most cases you won't have to change any of these, but a few are worth noting
below. Note that just as with EDF changes, you must click Inject
Changes before the change will have an effect in your
collector.
