The first step to analyzing web performance is to generate some data. Start
Internet Explorer (IE) or Firefox (FF). Assuming a successful RTI installation,
data is immediately being collected. As you use IE or FF, response times are
being tracked by RTI, but your web browser experience should be unchanged.
Browse to your favorite site, and click around. Simply starting RTI and going
to your home page should be enough. For this example, we opened IE to our home
page, http://www.google.com/ and
then went to http://ocsystems.com/.
