The RTI Console is a Java thick-client user interface for configuring,
gathering, and analyzing collected performance data. The RTI Console is
available for Linux, Mac and Windows desktops. The Windows and Linux
downloads include a Java 6 Runtime Environment (JRE). The installation occupies about 160MB on disk, 90MB of which is the
included Java 6 JRE. Each user has a workspace whose size depends on the
data saved locally for analysis. The running RTI Console is configured to use up to 1GB virtual
memory.
The RTI Console for Windows is included in a standard Windows
self-installing executable,
rti-console-3.3.3-win32.exe
(where "3.3.3" will change in future releases). The RTI Console for Macintosh requires Mac OS X 10.6 or newer and an
installed Java 6 JRE.
The RTI Console for Linux requires typical desktop environment packages,
including:
-
gtk2
-
gtk2-engines.i686
-
libXst
Installing the RTI Console does not
require root or Administrator privileges.
